August and a little Fairytale

I feel awful I cheated writing for sketching that I haven’t posted anything for a month.  The last day of August and I am in dire need of a post. I just couldn’t turn my thoughts into writing that I spent most of my time sketching faces, learning piano chords and watching movies. Somehow it helped relieve the worries bugging my head.

August always had something in store. Last year one of the best surprises I could ever get was revealed on its 20th. This year it was something different. A lot happened since August 1st  and I had been completely confused since then I couldn’t even explain it. Some things need more time to sink in. I think I need those moments of solitude. Maybe the next time I wake up things will be a little clearer.

So enough of that, i still have to try to compose a better one.

As I have stated above I spent time sketching, I want to share one of the sketches I had. I have always loved drawing as much as I love sharing my thoughts. And it has actually been years since the last time i did. I just started to sketch again using charcoal pencil on October last year and until now most of them are still unfinished. Either I leave their faces blank or just don’t continue them at all. Maybe one of these days I’ll try to share them here. But this one I managed to finish the other night and I started it on the middle of July 2012.

Here goes a short conversation i had with my six year old cousin, Ana.

Me: Who’s that? (Showing the photo in my phone)
Anna: Jessica Sanchez
Me: How did you know it was her?
Anna: Because of the lips.
Me: hahaha okay.

At least she recognized it was her i drew.
But I am really happy about it. It shows that when I set my mind on to doing something I can do it.
Enough of my nonsense talks. Here you go.

And hey, have you listened to Jessica’s new single FAIRYTALE? If you haven’t then it’s the time. It’s hella cool. It's just an awesome sneak peak to her first album which will be released soon.

Who wouldn't want a fairytale? I'd want mine. =)
