This post is again dedicated to our one and only Jessica Sanchez. She made it past week 15 and to top 5 thru those who believed and voted for her. And on behalf of the Blujay family out there who are doing their very best for Jess, thank you so much to everyone who placed their faith in Jessica. But the fight isn’t over yet guys, a month to go and it’s gonna be the finals and we have to make sure she stays and win.

She hasucome a long way and I am sure that we don’t want to see her go until she’s proclaimed the winner. She deserves the title.

I know time is precious for each and every one of us, but I am here humbly asking for you guys to share some of it to Jessica by voting every after performance night. We need consistency here if we want her to reach finals and win this thing. However, we also need manpower to do this. We need a large voting team who are consistent enough to vote for her for full 2 hours every after performance night for the last month of American Idol.

Soarin’ High with the BluJays

Maybe you already have the idea what this post would tackle but if not then let me enlighten you a little bit. This is all about the 16-year old girl on American Idol Season 11 who has the out of this world talent, Jessica Elizabeth Sanchez.

I haven’t been this engrossed watching American Idol until Season 11 started only because of her. I am a certified Blujay fan and I am definitely proud of Jessica.

Yes she is a half Mexican, half Filipino gal but I am supporting her not because I have Filipino blood but because I do believe in her capabilities, in the prowess of her voice. This young girl has what it takes to be a great singer and star. Where on Earth can you find someone like her with such remarkable voice?

“The way you play with it, it’s like you're juggling balls,” J. Lo said.

“Your talent is so otherworldly to me,” Randy Jackson said.

I am not gonna make this post long. I am just askin’ for your support and votes.

Dawn with our Angels

I have been having trouble uploading pictures here in blogger which is why this post took so long. I have been looking for ways to fix it yet i am unfortunate so i ended up uploading photos to my photobucket account and copied the direct links here. Plus i kept on being signed out which annoys me. Anyways, here is my post.

My fondness of the fluffy wings I get to see every Easter was never gone since I could remember, as it was my dream to be a part of the throng of angels who sing during the Easter Sunday when I was still a kid, which has been a custom for us Roman Catholics. Yet, it never came true and now I am too old to be one. They only get kids from 4 years of age up to grade school I guess.

Nevertheless, things don’t always end up the way we want them to be. Sometimes we end up attaining our dreams in a different way or we find ourselves already realizing those dreams thru other circumstances.

Hey, that dream of mine didn’t end up being just a dream. Yes, I wasn’t lucky enough to be an angel then dressed in a robe of white with those feathery thingy at my back but last Easter I felt I was. My two lovely girl cousins, Anna and Margarette, who are 6 and 7 years old consecutively, became angels. Thru them I was able to feel how it likes to be one and it was fascinating.

This year they didn’t have feathery wings coz stores were already closed by the time they confirmed that they made it on the list. So we had to rush two wings on a Black Saturday using card board (which came from my mum’s storage), and some off-white crepe paper (the white crepe paper didn’t really look white for us). I was locked up that whole Saturday gluing crepe paper to the card board. We loved the outcome though we could have done better if we weren’t hastening that much. 

We woke up at 3AM that Sunday coz we didn't wanna be late. It was a great and blessed day. Hope you had a blessed Easter.

They were just adorable, right? All i wanted to do was to take pictures here and there.

I enjoyed taking photos of Margarette. She was more cooperative that time.

Go tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere

Well, i'll prolly be able to wear my own wings one day. For now i do have this invisible wings of mine which enables me to take flight wherever i want to go. Of course, with God's help and all the people who loves me.

All for Love

Oftentimes in our lives we desire for so much. So much that they’re no longer what we really need. So much more than what we actually need. When on the verge of getting something or having something, have you even bothered to stop for a little while and dared to ask yourselves, if you really need such? While we deserve the chance to have everything in life, that doesn’t mean we have to have everything. We have to be grateful for the things handed to us and work our way from there to be able to gain what we REALLY need and what we REALLY deserve.

People are so engrossed living their lives according to what this world have created. I am no exemption to that. Only to find out that I have lost myself along the way because this world, which happened to be created by Someone supreme above everything else, has engulfed me and what exists in it took over my life entirely. Those or should I say these were the worst days of my life. And I have never felt more alone, lost and emptier than ever. 

This is all about how God has been trying to win me back although I have wandered so far from Him.

I have come to realize that I am in no position to question anything despite being hurt nor forgotten because I did the exact same thing to the one and only Being Who never really left me. I have loved people so much to the point that I forgot how to love my God the same way and I have hurt Him. I have remembered almost everything and everyone that I forgot Him along the way. Too bad I realized it really late that He has to let me feel what He felt for me to recognize Him again. Yet I know that He didn’t want to hurt me, he just wanted mu to learn a lesuon and it’s ouly thru those curcumstances that I could. He had to take things away from me… from my grasp so I’ll understand that He controls everything.  He had to steer the wheel to a different direction for a moment to show that in the blink of an eye everything can change if it is not His will. I was really disappointed with myself that I allowed it to reach that point nonetheless I do not regret things… for I badly want to find my way back. I just have to believe that everything is His plan and He has great plans for me and for everyone else.

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

After all, we owe Him so much and what He asks from us is only very little but means a lot – that is to love Him above anything else and to care for His creations the way He does. To care for each and every one of us for we are His and He lives in us.

John 13:34-35  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Every one of us experiences that phase when you don’t know what to do and you feel like the whole  universe gangs up on you. Do not fear. Think of Him. His love is greater than the fears and problems we have. Talk to Him in silence for even though we do not speak at all He could read the desires of our hearts. He knows all the pains we have … all of it without even mentioning. And you know what He’ll do? He’ll share to us the courage needed to face those problems that would shape us to be better persons. He’ll cast all the worries away and embrace us so we wouldn’t have to feel the pain. He’ll do much more than what I could even enumerate or what you could suggest. He’ll do all of these because He loves us. All for Love.

Though we may wander far from His love, he’ll make sure that we’ll always find our way home. He finds ways to bring us back to where we are supposed to be.  He is totally aware of what barricades us from His love and is so much willing to break those barriers just so He could reach us - only if we allow Him. He had given so much and still He never ceases to give more. He offers us the most perfect love. That’s what we really need.

With Him in our lives we will never feel alone, lost and empty again. He would paint the sweetest smiles in our faces and make every day of our lives worthwhile. What more could we ask for if we already have too much?

I am just honored and grateful to have Him in my life.

He never fails. 

God is good. God is great. God is Almighty.

Some wildflower growing along the grounds of our Uni. They were the object of my photography during the last days of Uni last year.

A Star's Gaze

I've been such a bummer for the past days that despite the urge to write i'm too lazy to do so. Which is why i am reposting some of the articles i wrote. I am still searching for the inspiration to be able to create another dazzling or worth it one. I don't exactly know the date when i wrote this but it was on my facebook notes and it says there March 21, 2010. Woah could you imagine that? It's been 2 years. =) And if you would notice in the post i was like so down which helped me come up with a proper article. Those were the days i was kinda stressed with school and personal stuffs. 

Just enjoy the talk about stars. I love them and i love star gazing as much as i love to capture every moment with my eyes (i just want a camera and an unlimited hard drive so i could fill it with photos of things i take a picture of whether it means something or not).

Imagine catching a falling star with your hands.. ^_^

I’ve been staying up late recently. I’ve been staring at the sky for days, watching the stars and looking for constellations.

I have been wondering, do they stare at me like how I gaze at them?

Do they miss seeing me at daytime?

Do they miss when I’m hiding from them all day long?

Do they miss me when they find themselves covered with clouds?

Just like now.

I again stared at the sky hoping I’ll find series of dots lining the endless horizon but I was disappointed to see nothing else but clouds trying to fill it.

I can’t even see a single glint.

It’s just unusual. Yeah I know that it’s not as if I see those stars all day but still, there’s the feeling of emptiness tonight.

And it’s very obvious.

That my feeling was somewhat congruent with the sky just like that night; that very night which is still very lucid in my memory.

(See how it works? That there are really those moments… those small moments wherein You and the Universe exist as one being.)

At times when I stare at them I feel sense of happiness. You know the feeling of assurance that they’re there. That they’re eyes are on you. That even though they do not speak to you at all, their mere presence would solve everything… it will try to fill the gaps.

Yet, even though I know the fact that they’re just around even when I cannot see them often makes me think that it’s not always a reassurance that the next day they’ll appear or they’ll be there. Bright they may seem but it’s not always the case. They do not lose their brightness but there are instances that clouds try to block them from view which gives me the impression that they fade away or more probably they lose their light… In short they also get tired…of sharing their light that they have to keep it for a while.

Right.

They do.

And in order for you to appreciate them again they have to regain their lights back. They qave to let the ulouds disappear from view so the brightness will be back.

And that takes time.

And you’ll realize that seeing it back is more rewarding for it will be like the first time you have set your eyes on it. Maybe it will be brighter than the first time you saw it… who knows this time it will never fade away?
