The Eye Chronicle: Now you see me thoughts

Now you see me, now you don't. The legend of the eye. What else?

To all who haven't watched the movie, i am warning you that this contain spoilers.

-----------------------------

Three years after the hit jumping off roofs and showering their audiences with money, here comes a sequel to the phenomenal Now You See Me 1.

Now you see me 2 houses the original characters we loved from the very start excluding the high the high priestess card holder, Henley Reed, portrayed by Isla Fisher who had to give up the filming because of her pregnancy. The twin hypnotist of Meritt, portayed by Woody Harrelson and with the beautiful Liza Caplan joining the group as the 4th horsemen.

To all who enjoyed a lot the first one just like me, well we expected a lot from this sequel.

Yet, the very grandiose thought about magic from the first movie somehow lost its magnificence in its part 2. They didn't really pick up from where they left the last time, did they?

I expected more breath taking magic shows while the whole world and fbi crew is in pursuit. Probably more death defying spectacles. I expected a scene far from the lights of the city since the teaser shown at the end of part 1 was a breathe of fresh air from the usual hustle and bustle they had always found themselves unto.

Now You See Me 2 was tinged with the emotional Dylan Rhodes as he reminisced the death of his father whom he was really attached to and the main reason for the 30 year planned revenge. The mysterious Rhodes, was exposed in this movie, hence he has now become another apple of the eye of his former job, the FBI.

When i first watched Now you see me, it actually made me believe in magic. It made me feel like i was actually there in the audience watching them live. I never wanted to miss a single detail because it houses so much information that could not complete the puzzle.

Now You See Me 2 is a good movie, entertaining at its level. However i know there's so much more for this movie.

You all must have been wondering just like me, where that bigger than all of us thingy went to. What happened to the magic behind everything else, more than just some silly little magic trick.

Another one, People must have been missing Henley in the scene like how Daniel Atlas missed her. I have my fingers crossed she'll be back if there be another chapter for this movie.

Nevertheless, i enjoyed the movie. But not as quite as the first one that i could no longer count how many times i have watched it on repeat and still enjoy every part of it.

Like how they said, part 2 had too much going on, it lost its muchness.
Hoping it will come back.

Christina Grimmie: tribute

Who is Christina Grimmie?

She is one of youtube's sensation known as Christinagrimmie and Zeldalovex64. She is also known as therealgrimmie in Instagram. Christina being discovered in youtube in 2009, showed great potential doing covers on various hit songs.

I didn't know her back then. So i wondered who this awesome singer was because she amazed me so much that i started following her on twitter and on youtube. It's been four years since i first heard christina grimmie's incredible cover of Elton John's Your Song.

Now i listen to her cover and It's still as classic like the first time i found it online. I would actually watch and put her songs on replay whether on the computer or on my phone. That's when the song really sank into my mind. I'd actually remember her singing it more than the cast from the movie Moulin Rouge.

When Christina Grimmie auditioned for the Voice, it was another breakthrough despite the fact that she had been doing well on her own for her youtube videos. Her covers have always been a joy to watch, even her vlogs and hostings.

a photo i got from google, tweaked it a for her birthday last 2013
It's just really sad that the very reason that catapulted her to the top, is the very reason that brought this tragic end to this very talented 22 year old.

A lot of people are asking why... And It is human nature to ask and wonder why things like this happen and why do people who do this actually do it. It's really crazy. No one actually knows answer.

Well, i don't want to talk about how odd it feels to be realizing that she's gone... instead, like any other fan out there, i'd like to remember the happiness Christina Grimmie brought to the world when she decided to open doors for her passion.

I appreciated her Titanium cover more than the original and always remembered her everytime titanium is being sang in Pitch perfect 1. Just saying.

So let us drown ourselves not in tears but in Christina Grimmie's music. She'd want it that way, for sure.

Rest easy, Therealgrimmie. Surely the world will miss your sweet voice.

PS Also praying for the victims of the shooting in Orlando the day after the incident.
