Smart Jump In Bash with Jessica Sanchez

It’s quite crazy why I always have to travel the night before her event?

Why do I always have to tell her I traveled nine hours just to see her? LOL.

Things were so much different from last year. A lot of things were holding me back this time which is why I was not able to properly muse over things and the available options. I just grabbed the only chance I knew and it was really another crazy adventure for a Blujay like me.

It was February 10, 2013, Chinese New Year, and I finally impulsively decided after thinking about it overnight that I am going to again chase my chance to see her. (Hug her and take a photo with her if possible)

I skipped my graveyard duty just to attend the Smart Jump In Bash Party for Jessica Sanchez and realized too late that it was a wrong choice (hmmm. I think it’s better to say not the bqst option). But indeed, regrets come last and what’s done was done. There’s no more point hating myself for it because I couldn’t definitely go back and it was my decision anyway.

Despite the frustration of not being able to hug her just like the last time, plus the time spent, money and effort for the show... I can say I actually had fun.

I hanged out with two of my closest pals, Loren and PX (they’re always around to join me in my Jayscapades. XD), met my Blujay Family again, saw and heard Jessica sing live again, and because this time I fangirled with my Blujay better half and bubby love, Chin. So it was really special… although our dream is to have a picture with Jessica just like the photo below this *points*..

If only we were early at the venue we could have availed some of the meet and greet passes but it was nearly 1 in the afternoon when I and my bub reached SM North Edsa. PX was already there while Loren had to run for some errands. We got our tickets and passes for FREE. *big smile* I got my Blujay baller, my Smart Jump In Bash Pass and Free Concert ticket from my lovely and generous friend Mile (I love that pal). Bought extra passes for PX and Loren and were good to go. We hurriedly bought a whole size cardboard, colored paper and markers from National Bookstore for our banner. Then we headed to Kangaroo Jack for our lunch which we had to consume in a short span of time for we’re in a hurry, the line outside Skydome gates were piling up. Loren arrived before we even finished eating so we asked her to just fall in line. (We kinda forgot to tell her we already had her pass so she purchased another one. Sorry Lao.) We had to get some camera batteries before we settled down on the line. We’re all armed this time. Each of us has a camera to use. We're all hyped. We had plans on what to do in case unexpected things happen (but hahaha nothing unexpected occurred).

We're Jay's CHIN and NAT <3

We started working on our banners as we waited for the gates to open. PX did the "We traveled 9 hours to see you" one and we just helped with the shading and in making the letters bold. Chin did the "CHIN and NAT loves yuu Jessica" (why loves? It's because we're considered as one although we're two different persons) and I helped her with the shading.
We tried to hide them at first but then cameras and a TV reporter swarmed over and asked us to show it and even for an interview. LOL. I seriously didn’t know what to say. That was a shocking moment for me.

I didn’t even notice what time they opened the gates when people were allowed to go in. We jut waited for the program to start afraid to miss if ever Jessica would be there soon. Although there’s a Jump In Photo Booth, Jump In Rockeoke, and, Jump In radio where you could request shout outs, and where people could spend their time before the main program we never left our spot near the front of the stage.  The event started at past 6 and ended before 8. Jasmine Curtis danced and Elmo Magalona sang before Jessica Sanchez came out. You see how short Jessica’s appearance was? She just answered some questions and sang the Jump In Song.  We tried our best to catch her attention with the banner we made (madly waved it despite the size being so big i doubt she didn't see it since we're just near) but the crowd was really crazy for her. We never got a chance to talk to her. It was heartbreaking especially for my bub.

At the end of the event, we waited for her but we never saw her come out of the back door. They made her leave using another passage. Too bad.

We went home after that and l again traveled another 9 hours. It’s not really tiring, is it? =P

Here are some photos to feast on.
